Transformers music video

Postby Wing Saber » Mon Oct 10, 2011 1:10 pm

I'm considering making a Transformers Music video, but rather than keep all the fun to myself, I think I'll let you suggest song and character to use
If you say just a name, that will be suggesting I use that character from all series (I.e. every Optimus Prime)
You may specify one series (IE Armada Optimus Prime)
You may specify a few series (IE Armada and Animated Optimus Prime)
Please don't use songs with language in them, and I'd prefer the song to not be talking about innapropriate stuff either

Song: "Till All Are One" by Stan Bush. :D

Series: All of them! (or as many as you can possibly squeeze in). ;)
"When there's gold feathers, punch behind you!!"

“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.” -- C.S. Lewis

I knew someone would say this song

I'm not doing series, as that would be too difficult
Only character(s)
By specifying which series, I meant a character from that series ;)

Alrighty then. I've been thinking of this idea for a while, but I haven't the means to do it.

A video showing the relationship between WFC/Exodus Optimus Prime and Megatron, using footage from the game's opening and cut scenes, and played to the song "The Plagues" from The Prince of Egypt, with Optimus in the place of Moses and Megatron in place of Ramses.

Exodus inspired me on this, as all Optimus truly wants in that book is for Megatron and he to be friends/brothers again, while Megatron believes Optimus to have betrayed their friendship when Optimus was named Prime instead of Megs. And now the two are forced to oppose each other as sworn enemies. It echos how Moses and Ramses felt about each other in the second half of that movie. 8-)

The only problem is getting my hands on the music... :|
Also I'm having difficulty finding the cutscenes of the game downloadable anywhere. I can typically find tv shows, but I can't find one with WFC cutscenes. If you can find one, I'll go for it, but if not, I'll have to pass

Hrmm. Nuts. Guess it'll stay as an idea, then. Back to the drawing board. :|

Still, 'tis an awesome song from an awesome movie.

I could go the classic route, and use the song 'Hero' by Skillet to Optimus Prime. I'll keep that as a fallback, though, just in case I can't find anything better
