10 Years of Smallville

Postby Sabrblade » Sun May 15, 2011 11:29 am

Talk about all things related to the Smallville TV series here. :D

It has been ten years since the Smallville TV series first aired (2001), and now, after the ten long and dramatic seasons, it has, at long last, come to a close.

It's been quite a ride mixed with fun, action, drama, and thrills all around.

Who else here has been a fan/follower of this show? ;)

“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.” -- C.S. Lewis

Immaturity is shown by not trying to understand others, but by judging others.

Did ya fellas hear? Smallville's story will continue in comic book form?

I don't know the details, I just came across this thread and thought I'd share that. :)

 I have all the Spike stories, so far.

I have some of the Angel ones, too. Buffy as well. I have trouble staying consistent with the monthly purchase, that's why I'm probably sticking with tpb's from now on.

The Spike stories, by the way, were spot on. They captured the character's spirit very well. Plenty of cameo's too.
