Saw the Hobbit yesterday! Smaug was so fantastic! Benedict Cumberbatch voiced him perfectly!
BIGGEST CLIFFHANGER EVER!
"I am fire!
I am death!"
"What have we done?!"

Just how is that a cliffhanger? You know we have to wait a year for Smaug to die within the first 30 minutes. Its more like a "we put in to much she-elf, so we'll more Smaug's death to the next film.

This is the only reason I only give the film a 3.5 out of 5

Also to note I'm only using the spoiler tags out of respect for the people how haven't read the book or seen the animated version of The Hobbit.

Which I haven't, so I can't answer your question. I intend to read the book after the third movie, I just like going into the theater not knowing what to expect
