2014 Generations at ToyFair

Postby perceptor » Tue Feb 18, 2014 12:39 am

The 2014 Transformers Section has been updated with new photos including our own we took at ToyFair and Hasbro's publicity stills. You'll find them in the galleries of character pages:
* Legends 2 pack: Acid Storm, Gears, Swerve and Tailgate.
* Deluxe: Jhiaxus, Nightbeat, Wingblade, Crosscut, Rattrap, and Tankor.
* Voyager: Whirl, Rhinox, Roadbuster and Sky Byte.
* Leader Class: Jetfire...

Ran into a small probramming bug which prevented me from getting these posted sooner. Apologies for the slight delay. Stay tuned, much more to come!

Still loving that Acid Storm. I mean I'm loving all of these new figures, but Acid Storm is just really appealing to me

Where's Nightbeat, Windblade, and Jhiaxus? They were shown.

“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.” -- C.S. Lewis

Gotta get Gears, Swerve and Tailgate!
Any species that can come up with a sweet ride like this can't be all bad.

On the subject of Nightbeat, did they say anything about the earlier Jazz retool we were seeing? Are we getting two Nightbeats or just the Bumblebee retool?

I'm guessing the Jazz remold pic was just a photoshopped placeholder pic. Jhiaxus's pic looked a bit different as well, despite being the same remold that we're getting.

Hard to tell with the Jhiaxus pic cuz it's mistransformed. Though that does make alot of sense, although i guess that also means we don't get fancy lights on our Nightbeat :D
Or perhaps they noticed alot of people complaining about Jazz being used for Nightbeat?

Roadbuster looks coolest to me so far.
The coward desires revenge but being afraid to die, he looks to others, maybe to the government of the day, to do the work of defense for him.

Oh goodness gracious me! Sorry 'bout that. Had so little time to put this thread together, I left them out. My bad. Problem solved. Thanks for the heads up!
