BotCon 2015 pre-convention online mini-comic - "Collections"

Postby Sabrblade » Wed May 20, 2015 2:24 pm

As BotCon 2015 draws ever closer, a special online mini-comic has been posted to the BotCon Twitter (Page 1, Page 2, Page 3), which serves as a prelude to this year's "Cybertron's Most Wanted" convention comic. Titled "Collections", this 3-page comic stars Packrat in a post-Beast Wars setting before he came to Axiom Nexus. But, as the Beast Wars cartoon events take place in multiple universes (3H Beast Era, IDW Beast Era, Dreamwave G1, Japanese G1, the Wings Universe, etc.), it is specifically unclear as to which exact universe this is supposed to be. Plus, with the appearance of a few other characters, this mini-comic also follows up from the previous "Timeless" online comic.

Finally. Before he arrived in Axiom Nexus, Packrat was pretty busy on "a" prehistoric Earth after the Beast Wars!

“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.” -- C.S. Lewis
