Six new Robot in Disguise video shorts on Hasbro.com

Postby Sabrblade » Tue Nov 17, 2015 11:06 am

Hasbro.com has uploaded six new video shorts for the Transformers: Robots in Disguise cartoon. Unlike most shorts, these six videos form a complete interlocking narrative with a greater story told from one to the next.

Previously, Cartoon Network had uploaded two videos onto YouTube that were believed to be preview clips for a new season 2 episode. However, as these two videos are now among the six shorts on Hasbro's website, it has become more apparent that the two videos from before are just shorts and not previews for a new episode as originally believed.

The six video shorts star the Autobot and Decepticon Mini-Cons as they fight over two new neutrally-aligned Mini-Cons, Backtrack and Ransack. As previously noted, these shorts reveal that Autobot Mini-Cons are called Buzzsaws, Decepticon Mini-Cons are called Torpedoes, and the chaotic neutral Mini-Cons are called Cyclones.

The six shorts are titled "Knock, Knock", "The Power of Dibs", "Back and Forth", "The Tragedy of Slipstream", "A Level Playing Field", and "Two Plus Two Equals More", in that viewing order.

“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.” -- C.S. Lewis
