Sitcoms you enjoy(ed)

Postby Sabrblade » Wed Jul 22, 2009 10:11 pm

What sitcoms do you like to watch, or liked to watch when they were on?

These don't necessarily have to be your favorites, just those that you enjoy or have enjoyed.

In no particular order, the sitcoms I like are as follows:

  • Home Improvement
  • The Big Bang Theory
  • Full House
  • Family Matters
  • The Cosby Show
  • Saved By The Bell
  • Saved By The Bell: The College Years
  • The Jeff Foxworthy Show (season 1 only, never got to see season 2)
  • The Bill Engvall Show
  • Boy Meets World
  • Doug
  • Drake & Josh
  • Even Stevens
  • Family Guy (sort of)
  • The Flintstones
  • The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
  • George Lopez
  • Gilligan's Island
  • iCarly
  • The Jetsons
  • Kenan & Kel
  • The Nanny
  • Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide
  • Phil of the Future
  • Sabrina, the Teenage Witch
  • Step by Step
  • The Suite Life of Zack & Cody
  • The Suite Life on Deck
  • Zoey 101
  • My Wife & Kids
  • 8 Simple Rules

I've had a lot of free time. :P

To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.” -- C.S. Lewis

I'm suprised no one here has listed "News Radio" as one! After reading your question, I found myself starring at my computer screen for 4 whole minutes before I could think of any sitcoms that I watch, I don't watch much TV, but a few sitcoms that I enjoyed were:

-News Radio

-The Office

-King of the Hill(I can do a mean Hank impression, "I tell you what")

I used to enjoy Family Guy until all of their jokes became stale and overused, such as the, "This is almost as bad as the time..." lines. I also am tired of hearing Seth McFarlane and Seth Green voice every character in the show.

I also enjoyed Robot Chicken until their humor, as well, became old and dry.

But anyways, I'm not sure if you'd like News Radio but give it chance and watch a few episodes online sometime. It had me laughing the whole way through!

That line got me thinking of all the time Kup would say the same thing. :P

I wouldn't really call that a "sitcom", but rather just a regular comedy sketch show like Saturday Night Live or All That. We're looking at sitcoms here.

I enjoy Everybody Loves Raymond (although the early episodes are boring), 30 Rock, King of Queens, Zach and Cody (Not the crappy spin-off on the ship) Drake and Josh, iCarly...that's pretty much it. XD I prefer detective series(es?) to sitcoms.

I like The Suite Life On Deck cuz the twins are older and a little more mature, and Cody finally got together with that girl he liked since the first episode. What's-her-name... Bailey, that's it! Yeah...

Oh, and no Ashley Tisdale! I lost all respect for her after her role in HSM.

I have some catching up to do on The Office.

I caught a re-run of The Big Bang Theory, last night. I like the blondie-chick on there 8-) . It was pretty funny, they had Sheldon telling blondie that since she had gotten him an X-mas gift he was obligated to get her something too.

It was pretty funny...and she's quite nice.
