These aren't anime.

Great other choices, though.

technicaly they're american anime but if you insist i'll replace them with spider riders
The phrase "American anime" is an contradiction. The term "Anime" refers to cartoons that originate in Japan and are created for Japanese audiences, some of which are later dubbed into other languages for foreign markets.

Avatar: The Last Airbender and and Ben 10 are American-created cartoons that use an art style intended to mimic the typical anime look, while not actually being anime themselves.

Though, since you mentioned Digimon, have you been keeping up with Xros Wars like me?

“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.” -- C.S. Lewis

Not really. They're "average" at best. Savers, however, had very faithfully-scripted dub as Data Squad, though it too suffered from a lot of censorship (namely Masaru's punches and how they turned BomberNanimon into a fake digimon).

I'm hoping Xros Wars can have as accurate a dub as Savers did.

BTW, notice this thread (long since been inactive and filled with out of date info, but is in good need of a resurrection and wider info). ;)
