Photo Galleries Galore, and More!

Postby perceptor » Wed Sep 04, 2013 9:36 pm

A large number of all new photo galleries have been added for figures all over the Transformers sub-line map. In addition to (literally!) hundreds of original toy photos, you'll also find a number of updates to our figure database, as well as Hasbro publicity photos now available in their respective character pages. I won't list every update, but a few of the highlights include:

2013: San Diego ComicCon Metroplex...

2012: Package photos and character pages added for all (Takara) Arms Microns figures, Stock photos for AM-33 Megatron and AM-34 Vehicon General

2011: 25th Anniversary Unicron, Human Alliance Soundwave, DotM Ultimate Optimus Prime, Leader Class Bumblebee, DotM Human Alliance Bumblebee, Mech Tech Bumblebee, MP Rodimus Prime, Human Alliance Backfire, DOTM Ratchet (Target Exclusive), Leader Class Ironhide, Deluxe Topspin, Human Alliance Skids with Elita-Oneand Sgt Epps, …

2010: Transformers Animated Rodimus Minor and Ironhide

2009: Swindle ...working on getting this link available... along with character pages for all 2009 Transformers Animated figures, viewable soon, when we can get the year upgraded to our new infrastructure...

1986: Spectro, Viewfinder & Spyglass (Reflector!)

It's nice to see these galleries, especially since I have DotM Deluxe Bumblebee.

Reflector is my favorite shot out of these, next to Cosmos he is one of the ones they should do more of.
The coward desires revenge but being afraid to die, he looks to others, maybe to the government of the day, to do the work of defense for him.

SDCC Metroplex looks amazing. Still trying to decide. Should I get the regular one or shell out the extra bling for the chrome'd SDCC version??? What is everyone else doing?

I'm going for the normal Hasbro retail one because:
A) It's the least expensive
B) The extra red gun interferes with the first red gun's interactivity with the figure
C) The chrome looks awful in person (like Metroplex is walking around with giant mirrors on his legs and face)

“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.” -- C.S. Lewis
